Dylan Marlais Thomas was born in Swansea, South Wales and for much of his life (1914-1953) lived and worked in his home town and its surrounding area’s on which he based many of his poems and short stories.
This DVD takes us from the house in which he was born to his final resting place in Laugharne and shows the places where he was taught, worked as a journalist, wrote and socialised.
Swansea, its surrounding villages and the beautiful coastline of Gower were the inspiration of much of his enduring work, both in poetry and prose.
