The French and Indian War was the last of the perennial Colonial conflicts that erupted between Great Britain and France in the late Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries.

Unlike previous colonial wars, this conflict would change the course of World History as it would lead to the destruction of one great Empire by another and furthermore, would help sow the seeds of the American Revolution.  This of course, led to the birth of the United States of America.

This DVD examines the landmarks of this pivotal war in New York State (then a colony).  It will show the viewer how this strategically vital region, once the scene of so much bloodshed, strife, determination and achievement, would play such an instrumental role in defining the fate of Empires...

Running Time approx. 35 minutes.

Areas featured include: Fort Niagara, Fort Ticonderoga, Fort William-Henry, Fort St. Frederic and more...
