The French and Indian War was the last of the perennial Colonial conflicts that erupted between Great Britain and France in the late Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries. Unlike previous colonial wars, this conflict would change the course of World History as it would lead to the destruction of one great Empire by another and furthermore, would help sow the seeds of the American Revolution.
